One of the biggest challenges of any project is implementing a fire strategy on site during the construction phase. Due to changes in design or legislation, the fire strategy may also need adjustment; this is especially relevant when a fire engineered solution has been adopted. This is why The Fire Surgery offer a full support service during RIBA Stage 5. We will engage with the main contractor and conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and discuss any challenges that may have been identified during the course of construction. The Fire Surgery will be on hand to advise and develop design solutions relating to fire safety.  We will also liaise with all members of the design team, including Building Control and The Fire Authority on any issues faced. Our aim is to ensure the construction phase of a project runs as smoothly as possible, with full transparency on our part and an end product that meets the client’s goals and requirements.
