The Fire Surgery was appointed to provide fire safety engineering consultancy on The Audley, a Grade II listed building in a conservation area in Mayfair, London.
The Audley Public House and Hotel was originally built in 1888-89 by Thomas Verity. It is an existing public house with private residential units on the upper floors. The existing building will be refurbished, with its primary use being changed from residential to hotel. A bar will be retained on the ground floor and a restaurant on the first floor. The building has a single stair which serves all the above ground floors.
